Jazz At The Library: Salt And Pepper

JazzFresno, the Rivendell Event Center and KFSR 90.7 FM will host a free, in person and open to the public Jazz at the Library presentation on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Rivendell Event Center located at 4927 E McKinley Ave., Fresno, CA 93727.

Please join the Joe Lenigan Big Band for an educational session of “Salt and Pepper”.  The program will feature “Salt”, a local middle school jazz band and future of the jazz art form, with “Pepper”, pros sitting in between each of the young students.  The student band will play and be given tips from “Pepper” on style, articulation, blend, balance and more.  The program will demonstrate the process and the degree to which jazz education can be enhanced by one-on-one instruction.
