Come out and enjoy the offerings presented by Measure P’s Expanded Access to Arts and Culture grant.

Join JazzFresno as we present the Fresno Latin Jazz Orchestra in a FREE concert in a wonderful Fresno venue in the plaza at Arte Américas. Doors open at 6pm and the concert begins at 7pm. Food vendors and a bar will be on site for purchase. Chairs will be available but you may also bring your own folding chair (no shade canopy attachments are allowed if they block the view for others).

The band, an Afro-Latin jazz big band, will perform the music of Latin jazz luminaries and local composers.

The Fresno Latin Jazz Orchestra concert series is funded in part by the City of Fresno Measure P Expanded Access to Arts and Culture Fund administered by the Fresno Arts Council. The concert series will include a total of five performances around the city of Fresno.  Funding for this performance is also provided by the Music Performance Trust Fund in celebration of National Jazz Appreciation Month. Special thanks to the Professional Musicians AFM Local 12 for their role in helping to coordinate funding from the trust.

JazzFresno is sponsored in part by Measure P and the Expanded Access to Arts and Culture grant. JazzFresno would like to express thanks to the staff of the Fresno Arts Council for their role in coordinating this years grant cycle. The Measure P Expanded Access to Arts and Culture grant program is a wonderful boost to the arts community in Fresno and the citizens of Fresno deserve to enjoy it.
